Joan Bukowski

HR Assistant

Joan has more than 20 years of experience in the private and not-for-profit sector.  Joan spent ten years at a rapidly changing manufacturing facility where she was responsible for their corporate learning and vocational center operations and provided services to assist employees in all aspects of achieving educational and job goals. She’s worked with all levels of management and staff to identify training needs and recommend solutions to improve worker satisfaction and efficiency.  ​

Joan also has an extensive background in marketing and communications, not-for-profit management and corporate training.  She has helped clients in the job design process and in writing job descriptions.  She also has trained clients how to write a legal job description that identifies the appropriate FLSA category.

Joan holds a B.S. in Marketing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  Joan is also an active member of Western New York's cultural community holding a variety of leadership, board and committee positions.
